PROJECTS

INDUSTRIAL SYMBIOSIS
FABRIX
Last week in Athens, Greece, the partners of the Fabrix project came together to share insights, align next steps, and strengthen our collaboration. Fabrix connects spatial and urban planning with socioeconomic transformation. Athens was the perfect place to feel that connection: a city with rich layers of history, creativity, and industrial change. We made progress towards the next phase of our project, in which a platform to encourage industrial symbiosis and community building activities will be piloted in Athens and Rotterdam. TAILORING
Green Startups
Do you want to develop your independent company to market your tailoring skills and to contribute to environmentally-friendly, ethical, and circular fashion? Follow our new Erasmus+ project Green Fashion Startup. Here, we are designing and pre-testing six modules to solve the issues related to the creation of your own company. The official launch of the online program will take place September 2025 and in four languages. Stay tuned on instagram

This well-researched article from TimeLab suggests how we can embrace uncertainty in biomaterials research. More here

This is positive - as it pushes the reuse of garments - although it continues to promote a form of fast-turnover of fashion (if not fast-fashion itself).

Ultra-fast fashion business model
