WHO WE ARE


Cedecs-TCBL is a company of European consultants in the organization and management of innovation on European textile-clothing R&D projects.


HISTORY Founded in 1987, Cedecs-TCBL mainly worked until 2004 on market studies in the telecoms sector, development of software and IT services and distance training for European SMEs. CEDECS-TCBL SAS succeeded CEDECS SARL in 2020 and is based on a multidisciplinary and multinational team of associated experts. READ


EXPERTISE  The team includes 20 senior and experienced consultants, of 10 different nationalities, with varied profiles, economists, urban planners, designers, managers, entrepreneurs, makers, etc. READ


CEDECS-TCBL's main activities are:

• Develop European networks of sustainable innovation,

• Stimulate technological and social innovation and the creativity of these networks,

• Transform these networks into sustainable ecosystems,

• Facilitate the training of new entrepreneurs

• Facilitate the engagement of new partners in these ecosystems,

• Manage the platform and services of the TCBL Association. READ


OUR PROJECTS


Our main activity is the setting up and realization of European projects on sustainable, technological and social innovations. READ


TechStyle is a 2 year Erasmus+ project led by Cedecs-TCBL. The project will develop an online curriculum on how to best use AI as tools to enhance circularity in the Textile & Fashion sector. Countries involved are France, Greece, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Turkey. READ

GFSU an Erasmus + project, enables future tailors and fashion designers to acquire knowledge and skills in sustainable management, strengthen their entrepreneurial mindset, and support them in gaining their first practical experiences in company creation. READ

FABRIX seeks to simultaneously improve the textile and clothing (T&C) industry in Europe as well as enhance the urban planning of these manufacturing functions. READ

VETRINE, an Erasmus + project, seeks to diminish the environmental impact of apparel production through specifically developed vocational education and training modules. READ

TEXREV bring together a network of vocational schools and training centers with textile laboratories, producers and enterprises in France, Germany, Italy and Turkey. READ

SHOEDES reveals new footwear designer qualifications for sustainable products that comply with the emerging demands of circular economy. READ

HEREWEAR aims for a holistic market-building approach in the EU for locally produced textiles made from locally bio-sourced materials. READ

SHEMAKES is dedicated to developing ecosystems to increase the leadership of young girls and women in textile innovation. READ

WINTEX weaves innovation among academia and industry in the Tunisian textile sector. READ

CreativeWear PLUS builds on the outcomes of the MED CreativeWear project that in the years 2016-2019 brought a new attention to creativity, design, and artisans. READ

In addition to Paris Fashion Week, an innovative atelier titled Beyond Adaptation: The Shift to Circular Practices was hosted by EIT Culture & Creativity at Atelier Néerlandais Paris on March 2 nd , 2026. More than 80 participants from across the fashion ecosystem—including designers, investors, and sustainability experts—gathered to engage in meaningful discussions and collaboration. Launch of the NEB Fashion Adaptor Program The event marked the inaugural edition of the NEB Fashion Adaptor , a ten-week training program intended to guide brands and services in transitioning toward circular models and resource-conscious practices. This initiative aims to address structural issues in the fashion industry, such as waste mitigation.

FEATURED PROJECT


TechStyle is a 2 year Erasmus+ project led by Cedecs-TCBL (Nov 2025 - Oct 2027).  The project will develop an online curriculum on how to best use AI as tools to enhance circularity in the Textile & Fashion sector and thereby strengthen skills of industry workers, SMEs and students. This learning curriculum will be co-designed by the 6 countries involved: France, Greece, Italy, Spain, Sweden and Turkey. Driving circularity will also be achieved through active dissemination and recommendations for post-project development. READ
