####WomenEmpowerment

CEDECS-TCBL SAS is the main coordinator of the shemakes.eu project, which started on January 1, 2021

In the shemakes.eu project we aim to provide conditions for traditional women in the clothing sector to develop their leadership and innovation talents.

Shemakes.eu combines the approaches of two major innovation ecosystems - Fabricademy (textile-academy.org) and TCBL (tcbl.eu) - within the textile and clothing sector to promote, highlight and celebrate the leading role of women in innovation, with the aim of permanently reshaping the opportunity structures of at least 16 European Member States and associated countries.

The project started on January 1, 2021, and in the first loop of activities, TCBL and Fabricademy are co-piloting a new generation of textile laboratories. There, girls and women improve their technological skills and entrepreneurship. Learning by doing, in a fun and group atmosphere, with the support of mentors or inspiring game-changers, gives them enough confidence to have a stronger future voice, better heard in the sector.
